Super Monday!

Yes, I know it’s not Monday, but yesterday – which was a Monday – saw me flitting off around the blogosphere to visit several different blogs , and I thought I’d share them all.

On Nick Wilford’s blog I discuss how an old novel got turned around into Small Forgotten Moments and some tips on how you might be able to do the same.

Hilary, who blogs at Positive Letters… Inspirational Stories won a copy of my book and a bar of chocolate in one of my launch giveaways, and has very kindly featured me.

I talk about my favourite time of year to visit beaches on Elizabeth Seckman’s blog.

And then, if all that wasn’t enough, last week I was on Alex J. Cavanaugh’s blog talking about the films which might go hand-in-hand with Small Forgotten Moments – ie. if you like these, you might like this, and vice versa.

And I was at Sandra’s Place with an excerpt.

I’ve said it many times before, and will say it in future, bloggers (especially ones in the writing community which are the ones I read the most) are fantastically generous, kind, and supportive. I’ve been blogging since 2011, just before I had my first novella accepted, and I’ve made some very long-standing connections. People who don’t blog can’t understand how I can call people I’ve never met in real life ‘friends’, but they definitely are. I’ve shared my highs, lows, asked for help, and given it in return. I am there for them, and I hope they know that.

  1. Hi Annalisa – I so agree … I feel I could rock up and happily chat with most bloggers – they are all amazingly kind and supportive.

Your book is great – and I hope you’ll get lots of extra reads from the various posts that the blogosphere has put on. I’m off to read the ones I haven’t visited … after a walk to my beach and with some sunshine on my face!

Cheers and all the best with your books – Hilary

  2. I definitely agree about the blogging community. Even when I’ve been mostly absent this past year while in school, the community has supported me. Congratulations on your release! (Shannon @thewarriormuse [dot] com–Wordpress defaults to my podcast account.)
