It’s that age old problem with writers, and perhaps lots of other professions too (I hear scientists are having a great time with nuclear fusion)… there’s lots going on in the background but nothing I want to talk about now.
So what happens? I disappear. I don’t update things. I slink sideways when it looks as if I might have to say something to someone!
So here are a few things I’ve been doing, without saying what I’ve been doing:
- I went on a website and drew a pretty picture
- I went on a different site and looked at bigger pictures
- I emailed a few people
- I edited some stuff
- I read some other stuff
So, I hope that’s given you a nice rounded idea of what I’m doing at the moment😂 . What are you up to? Got Christmas sorted or are you as ‘organised’ as me?
Amazon UK are still going pretty bonkers with the pricing of the hardback edition of Small Forgotten Moments. If you love hardbacks or are looking for a great present for someone, check it out.
Biscuits are optional but recommended.
The preparations for the release of The Clock in My Mother’s House are coming along nicely. As well as a short blog tour, I’m having a launch event at my local library on Thursday 19th January.
And don’t forget, you can pre-order today. Just click the image below!

It’s been so long since I’ve visited your blog. For that, I’m sorry. It sounds like you’ve been busy. Perhaps prepping for a new book?

I’m still falling behind on my blog reading. I’ve set aside an hour right now, before I take the dog for his walk. Prepping for a new book…? It sure sounds that way, doesn’t it? 😉
