I’m spending less time here, at the moment, so I thought I’d share some other places you can find me π
Facebook – this is where I talk about my writing, share articles about books and occasionally some book reviews
Twitter – all manner of random stuff comes out of my fingertips here!
Goodreads – I don’t really use this site as a social media platform, but I do review the books I’ve read
Newsletter (link takes you to the sign-up page) – I guess this is the reason why my blog has taken a backseat. My newsletter comes out once a month, I try to talk about things that both readers and writers will be interested in, and there’s always a small giveaway attached to it. Click here to find out why I give away the things I do.
I don’t plan to give up this blog entirely, but at the moment other things are taking precedence. I’ll probably see you over on your blog too x
Best place for me to find you is Twitter then. Already getting your newsletter.

Hi Alex, yes I follow you on Twitter – it’s so crowded though, I sometimes miss people. I really need to get my head around using lists. Last time I said that, I set them up, but I don’t automatically use them to see tweets. Thanks for subscribing to my newsletter – one day, it might even be interesting π€

Hi Annalisa – having just got ‘slightly’ involved with FB … my time is being taken up and it’s so nebulous – well a lot of it! But I’m an eclectic blogger and do spend quite a lot of time ‘researching’ projects … I suspect I’ll keep doing what I’m doing – though may branch out into Twitter … just to get a handle of it. I only comment on FB … time?! But good to know where you are – and I really should look at Goodreads properly – cheers Hilary

There seems to be so many different avenues to connect these days, my blog has taken a back seat this year. Twitter is good for writing community I find, but I don’t do Facebook.

I get lost on Twitter and can’t get my head around following huge conversations with lots of people, but I like connecting with you on that platform!

I’ve switched to one post a week and take time off when I’m busy. I hate to give it up because it’s how I met fabulous writers like yourself!

Yes, that’s exactly why I don’t want to give up my blog altogether – I guess it’s good our writing is getting to that stage where we can’t spend hours blogging anymore π

It’s understandable to want to redirect your time and energy to other things, including other forms of social media. I like Twitter best because I only have to come up with a line or two of writing at a time and I can retweet the writing of other people as well; it’s less work than blogging.

Yes, much quicker and more immediate – and random. I don’t feel I have to stick to writing-related subjects… Indeed it’s frowned upon if you do. I often unfollow people who do nothing but talk about their own books!

I’ve been blogging less and I’ve noticed many others doing the same. I miss the old “magic” of blogging. You won’t find much activity from me these days on the internet, but I do lurk the blogs of others now and then.

I remember when I first started blogging there were many online articles about how it was dying. Then there was a resurgence. I think we’re ebbing the other way for a while, but it’ll come into its own again. I met so many lovely online friends through my blog, I’m not going to give it up entirely, I just need to know I’m not tied to it. Thanks for stopping by π

I think you do such a great job on your newsletter! I am always impressed with it.
I’ve barely been blogging or on social media at all but I am trying to get back to it for the rest of the year. I have never been able to feel comfortable on Twitter – just feels like so much noise to my introverted soul LOL. Blogging is really the only form of social media I’ve ever genuinely enjoyed so I don’t want to give it up entirely.

Aw, thank you! I know what you mean about Twitter – it feels like standing in a really busy room, shouting loudly and hoping someone hears, while simultaneously walking past people and commenting on what they’re shouting about. I’m slowly getting it, but not quite π

I’ve shifted away from blogging, except for once a month. I get your NL, so am keeping up with you.

I’ve seen you much more on Twitter and Facebook than here. It seems most of us don’t have as much time for blogging.

Yes, now I’ve stepped back from blogging (and from reading other blogs so much) I’m upping my other social media usage – I’m trying to get to grips more with Twitter, which doesn’t come as naturally to me as Facebook.
